Jubilee Hotel in 1990.
In 1994 the hotel closed and it became a community centre called the House of Hope, Te Whare o Awhero. The Body and Soul gym was downstairs, along with several meeting rooms. Upstairs was a boarding house and temporary accommodation.
In 2020 the building was demolished and on its site is a housing development called Jubilee Gardens.
